As I have read over social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and Google +, most of the people voted for
Miss Philippines to be crown as Miss Universe 2011. Others are contrary saying that Miss Angola would be the best because aside from the same vote with Miss Philippines, she is taller and have a simple beauty.
"I have reservations with the results. If the only basis is the Q and A portion, after having been
trimmed down to 5, Ms. Philippines deserved to win. What made her different from the rest is that she had no seconds to rethink of her answer as she had no interpreter to break the ice. The rest had their interpreters and having breaks on seconds to think about their answers. Hands down, Ms. Philippines answered straight to the point." Said, Oprah.
It was news over NBC and Yahoo. This statement of Oprah made all Filipinos strong and believe that Shamcey should bring the Miss Universe 2011 crown home. But what if the pageant is not only weighing the Q and A portion. How about the other categories?
In my opinion! Judges are made the right decision. It is unfair to the other 4 candidates in we only base on Q and A portion because they does not know how to speak English. I am not in favor with someone even if I am a Filipino. Yes, always love Filipinos and I am proud enough to Shamcey, she does not have any major major mistake. She was doing the best during the competition. And of course great answer for that question. Kudos! Shamcey.
